National Kiwi Hui - Header Image

Registrations for the national kiwi hui have now closed.

These hui are a great opportunity for Kiwi Practitioners to listen to presentations from experts in various fields, network with fellow kiwi conservationists, and be immersed in all things kiwi for two and half days. As always, the national kiwi hui is free for attendees; Kiwis for kiwi and the Department of Conservation cover all the costs. All you have to do is get there.

We are doing things a bit differently this year, from our split venue (don’t worry, the two marae are 200 metres apart so you won’t have to walk far) to taking registrations on Eventbrite rather than on our website.

The biggest change, however, is the change to the flow of how the hui will run.

The hui will start at 4pm on Wednesday the 14th with a pōwhiri. After dinner we will have a couple of presentations to warm us up for the set of presentations the next morning. On Thursday afternoon, we will have the field trip and workshops, including the best practice/ trainer and ONE practitioner workshops . We will conclude the hui as normal on Friday morning with the final set of presentations, closing at lunch time with shared kai.

We are really looking forward to this year’s National Kiwi Hui and hope to see you there!
