On 17 September 2020, the Ministry of Conservation announced a multi-million-dollar cash injection into kiwi conservation efforts.
Jobs for Nature funding, as part of the Government’s COVID-19 response and recovery package, will see $19.7 million over five years spread across kiwi conservation activities like increased predator control and Operation Nest EggTM. Kiwis for kiwi will manage the distribution of funds, which will create up to 100 new jobs.

As successful projects are announced, they will be listed below. New jobs associated with the funding will be advertised by the groups that receive funding.
